This is a series of 18 painting/drawings, as I call them. They contain various materials including, paint, graphite, watercolor, dirt, hair and pastel. They depict a response to my surroundings and personal life. I worked in a spontaneous manner, trying to capture the feeling of that particular moment in time using an invented array of symbols and images. The ambiguity is a result of this spontaneity and allows the viewer to bring their own experience and feeling into the viewing experience.
