These paintings continue an investigation that began during a year spent in Chile working on a body of work and research that involved the connection between the Chilean poetry and its amazing landscape. These paintings were created over a series of photographs taken, with the exception of the boat images, in Patagonia, Chile. A thick textured paint was applied over the photographs to try to define a poetic space in between the landscape and the viewer.

From September 16- October 5, 2004 these paintings were exhibited at Galleri Kampmann, Copenhagen, Denmark.
