Peter Laugesen created a series of 8 new poems for the book in 1999. The etchings are meant to be an accompaniment to the text that functions as a collaboration similar to the way musicians may play together.

The text for this bilingual edition was printed by Daniel Keleher in Hadley, Massachusetts using specially cast type from the Letterfoundry of Michael and Winifred Bixler in Skaneateles, New York. The original Danish version is printed on translucent Seikishu Japanese paper so it can viewed mirroring the English translation or opposite on the verso page.
